2022 R. Andrews Merlot

This wine is dedicated to our grandfather, Robert Andrews, for his foresight in establishing the McKinley Springs Estate Vineyard in 1980 with sons Rob and Scott. Our family winery celebrates this heritage with wines that showcase the Horse Heaven Hills land we have nurtured for four generations.

...showing a lot of complexity in both its aromatic profile as well as on the palate with its array of different flavors and textures. It opens with aromas of red cherries, plum and blueberry with undertones of graham cracker and clove. On the palate you get cola, red currant and sweet boysenberry syrup. Well structured with bold fruit that lingers on through the finish.

Blend: 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Aging: Barrel aged for 22 months in 76% new French oak and 24% neutral Frnch oak barrels
